I AM CHOSEN

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these if God is for us who can be against us? Romans 8:31 NLT

The question again is Who can be against us?

The answer……

We. Oneself . Me . You

Our mind, Our Flesh.

There’s a saying I’ve heard that’s somewhere along the lines of ; some of us give the enemy a break by doing his work for him.

We can be our own enemy, the flesh nature that’s in each one of us.

The negative thought patterns , the way we view a situation, the likelihood of a man to just expect the worst to happen because that’s how life is.

While we should be prepared for whatever the outcome of a situation, we should not allow fear to go ahead.

When we allow fear to enter the room of the mind, with it enters worry, doubt, anger , you name it.

LET FAITH go instead. More importantly, Let God go before you.

We really need to get to that place where we don’t give room for the flesh to have its way. It needs to be crucified DAILY!!!

Scripture tells us

”casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;“
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV

So what should we do?

As hard as it may sound , immediately pray and dismiss it. Remember we should be people that pray without ceasing. Everything needs prayer. We should be praying about EVERY SINGLE THING we do.

Lord what should I wear today? What should I eat? Lord where are my keys? Can you help me find it? Lord can you provide a parking space for me when I get to my destination?

Some of your requests may sound mundane , funny to even ask but it’s fine, we’re in relationship with our Lord, the very fact that you bring all things to Him is a sign that you include Him in all you do. We shouldnt be afraid to ask the Lord about a thing or tell Him what’s on our mind. Although He already knows, it now gives room for Him to enter to speak rather than the enemy.

If you get in the habit of including Him, you’ll see changes in all areas of your life. Your relationship with the Lord will grow deeper and when the level of fellowship between you and His Spirit increases, you’ll find yourself in that place, that awareness, that understanding of If God is for me, who can EVER be against me.

I pray these words speak to you. May the Light of the living God shine ever so brightly in your life in Jesus’s name, Amen.
