I AM CHOSEN

“A fool despises his father’s instruction, But he who receives correction is prudent.”

Proverbs 15:5 NKJV

“She has not obeyed His voice, She has not received correction; She has not trusted in the Lord, She has not drawn near to her God.”

Zephaniah 3:2 NKJV

The above scriptures speaks about receiving correction.

Receiving Correction looks different and sounds different on each person on the receiving end . Your heart posture is reflected when all is said and done for it is better to be a fool for Christ than a fool to Christ.The Lord chastens those he loves. This is found in scripture.

So as believers, we are to be open to receive correction from the Lord and those whom he has placed over us.

My prayer for you as I write this, is that you would be open and obedient to the voice of Holy Spirit so as to allow Him to speak over you and guide you on the right path.

For I heard the verse,

“The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.”

Proverbs 10:22 NLT

Let the wisdom of the Lord be as riches to your soul and to those that are around you. Let the Lord speak through you.

As we venture into the month of October the Lord isn’t just going to expose the works of the devil. But he’s going to expose the works of the flesh.

“For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.”

Luke 12:2 NKJV

Clothing can cover and hide the flesh, parts of the body, with only certain parts revealed.With that being said, too many have come into the body of Christ to build themselves up fueled by Pride and ego, where they work of peoples emotions.

1Samuel 15:12 says Don’t build monuments for yourself; build God’s ministry.

Are you called to build yourselves up or God’s ministry?

Such people will be revealed for Christ came to uncover all.

Biblically speaking, the flesh is precisely represented as seen in this scripture.

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV

Works of the flesh is as witchcraft. It’s something practiced and those who do such will not inherit the kingdom of God.

What’s listed is as a blue print for you to know what behavior for characteristic is fleshly and not of God.

If you find that there some of the things listed resonates with you. I pray that you will be begin to allow the Lord to remove it. It is only by the help of the Holy Spirit that and the name of Jesus that you can overcome drunkenness for example and come out of a life of sin.

Let the Lord pull you out from the pits you’ve fallen into. Let him help you escape. Let him make your wrongs right. Let him correct you.

If you are wise and seek more wisdom , receive correction from the most high.

Remember Conviction comes from Holy Spirit. Condemnation comes from the wicked one.

If you find yourself in repeated sin with no remorse, you haven’t died to flesh, but you’ve come to that place where what you allow, what you is fine and ok .

Be open to correction. The Lord wants you on the right path. His heart yearns for you to walk in freedom. All you need to do is surrender. Surrender your will and agenda. In this life you’ll find your self doing and doing with no profit in return.

A surrendered life to Christ and obedience to his Holy Spirit is the pass you need to eternal life.

Sexual Immorality

If you draw near to God. The desires of the flesh will burn out. For He is an all consuming fire. Sexual immortality will

12 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”[a] 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.[b]

18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

May the scales fall off your eyes . May the hardness of your heart be soften.
